Anniversary

Last week the Anchor Church set aside a Sunday to celebrate two very important anniversary's.
First there was Pastors Larson's 20th year as Pastor of the Anchor. And second, it was his and Sis. Larson's 35th year as a married couple. Both are amazing accomplishments. The Larson's are truly giving, dedicated and visionary people.
But as many visiting preachers learn, they have big shoes to fill and an even bigger pulpit to stand behind as Stickman soon learns in this cartoon by Tim Cooper.

Who is the stickman representing? Who is he supposed to be?

There are a lot of visiting preachers who come to our church and comment on how tall the pulpit is. I think that is what Tim was getting at. With that said, Stickman is just a character who's small stature drives home the comparison of a tall pulpit.
But perhaps Tim can answer that question with more exactness.
